Coffee Nap: Yep! You heard it right I know what you’re thinking, being exactly opposite in their working nature, these two words are not supposed to be together. But the fact is these two really can work wonders to boost up your energy. When you drink coffee, caffeine in it doesn’t hit for 30 minutes and this is the right time to take a nap. It helps your body to relax by providing the required amount of rest needed to make you feel energetic. A nap followed by caffeine hit -> perfect combination to make you feel boosted! It makes you feel both rested and simulated.
Don’t try this late in the day. You should not consume caffeine for at least 6 hours before your bedtime otherwise it will keep you awake. Also, remember the power nap has to be only 20-25 minutes long (at max).
Give it a try! You will feel the difference.
NOTE: If coffee doesn’t suit your body, don’t try this method. You can use other means instead. For example, have a cup of green tea. It is full of antioxidants and it helps your brain to work efficiently.

The smart phone certainly has become the lion’s share in our lives but our dependence on it causes a lot more damage than we can ever imagine. Is it right to spoil your lifestyle due to some electronic gadget? You may not realise now, but in the long run, you will regret it. I know this a lot to ask, it sounds difficult to me as well. Like any other person, I am also addicted to my phone but we got to improve this habit of ours. Let’s take it step by step and try avoiding your phone an hour before your sleep. Eventually, you will get used to it and you won’t regret it.
Include protein in your breakfast: Just like it is said, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is because it helps you keep going. Your body needs the energy to work for an entire day. How can you expect it to work if you don’t feed it a proper diet? Have a protein rich breakfast (Protein is the major source of energy).
We Punjabis cannot call it a breakfast until we are not served a parantha but if you look into its nutritional value, it contains approximately 6.30 gm of protein as compared to 13g of fat. On the other hand, foods like an egg (13gm), almonds (21gm), cottage cheese (11gm) and oats (17gm) have higher protein content. Switch to better diet and you will feel the result.`It will definitely boost your energy and will help you to make your day productive.

What are you waiting for? Laugh it out and loud.
Meditate your way out: People always ask you to take deep breaths whenever you feel stressed. It basically calms your mind, you feel good after taking just 6-7 deep breaths. If taking just 6 deep breaths can make you feel relaxed, imagine what would be the result if you meditate for 10 minutes. It really can work wonders to boost your energy.
Meditation clears your mind. When you take more time to dive into yourself, you become comfortable in your own skin. You start thinking clearly. It also improves the concentration, encourages a healthy lifestyle, reduces stress and even reduces the ageing process. Isn’t it wonderful?
So take out 10 minutes from your busy schedule (10 minutes are affordable), meditate and you will feel the difference.
